What is Dodex B12?
Dodex contains 1000 mcg of cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) per 1ml ampoule. Each box includes 5 ampoules. It is administered via intramuscular injection and is not intended for intravenous use.
Uses of Dodex B12
Dodex is used in the treatment of:
Pernicious anemia and other forms of macrocytic anemia
Trigeminal neuralgia (severe facial nerve pain)
Sciatica and other types of nerve-related pain
Shingles (herpes zoster) and acute neuritis
General neuralgia (nerve pain)
Occasionally used in diagnostic tests like the Schilling test
